Welcome to HIG!

Over the last ten or so years, I've been on a lookout for ways in which we could live happily on a daily basis- ways to live a more balanced, creative, productive, fulfilling and mindful life, to be our best possible selves in order to contribute to this world all that we were meant to bring into it. I hope to share some of what I've learned over here. It's a whole range of things, from useful and empowering information, ideas and practices, all the way to delicious and nourishing recipes I've been creating. It just so happens that the vast majority of those practices, tips and ideas can be boiled down to the idea of going back to basics, back to our original balance which often happens to be associated with the color green. Green has also always been my color and I've always felt happiest in it or in its presence, hence the name of this site. I needed a space to share what I've been studying and practicing, and all that I've been learning from it. Perhaps you'll find some of these things inspiring in some way as well. And who knows, they might somehow contribute to you also raising your energy a little higher and feeling better by finding your own green, even if it's a completely different hue.

More about HiG

I've decided to create this space to share some of what I've studied, researched, learned, practiced and/or experienced over the last 10 years. It's basically all kinds of lifestyle/personal growth practices- things I've learned while looking for ways to live.. well, simply happier. To live your best life possible at any given moment, to be in balance as often as possible, and as resilient as possible for the times when life throws us out of balance, as it often does.. to be as creative and productive as possible, while still being present and mindful every step of the way.

As cliché as this might sound, these are all key in allowing us to be the most wonderful versions of ourselves.

I believe that each and every one of us is equally worthy of being their best self- simply for ourselves. But it doesn't hurt that truly being our best selves happens to also positively impact those around us in countless wonderful ways. However, it all starts with you and within you first. I've been teaching it to others for years now while also still learning it myself on a daily basis.

Above you'll find a list of some of the topics I've been into, just to give you an idea about what could end up as a Happiest In Green post. This site is all about holistic health and wellbeing, meant as a sort of a reference guide for myself, my clients, friends and anyone else interested. Although over the years I have definitely gained quite a lot of knowledge on these subjects, I am fully aware that I'm still barely scratching the surface here and that's why I'd like this to be a platform where I could also share some of my favorite resources (books, talks, films, lectures, podcasts, videos, websites, courses, blogs, theories, methods, inspiring people, etc.) that I myself use to broaden my knowledge on a daily basis, so that, if anyone is interested, they can also dive into them themselves.
